I believe therapy is most effective when the client feels safe and empowered to address whatever may be blocking them from living the life they want. As such, I strive to create a warm and inclusive environment where the client feels respected and honored as who and where they are today. My practice involves an integrative approach to person centered therapy. I work from a humanistic and existential framework to meet the client where they are and support them in getting where they want to be.
I earned a Masters of Arts in Counseling Psychology with a focus on health psychology from Bastyr University. My work as a chemical dependency counselor provided me with valuable experience with a broad range of mental health concerns, including trauma, co-occurring disorders, gender, sexuality, relationship and identity issues.
In our work together, we will explore the biological, psychological, social and spiritual implications of your experience, and work together to identify effective ways to cope and facilitate healing.
