I have experience working with individuals and their anxiety, coping skills, stress, loss and grief, self-esteem issues, life transitions, emotional self-regulation, and relationship issues. I have worked with individuals, teens, emerging adults and the elder population that come from a diverse cultural background such as American, African American, Latino, and Asian.
I love working with younger adults who are in college and are going through difficult life changes like test anxiety, panic attacks, self-esteem, unsure about career paths, family issues, and cultural issues such as learning a new culture or language.
I believe healing takes place in a safe and supportive environment where individuals can be their true self. My approach is influenced by person centered, strength based, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and holistic psychology by treating the body, mind, and spirit within the context of social and cultural influences. I appreciate individual’s uniqueness and work with clients using different theoretical modalities that best fits their needs.
