Welcome! I am so happy you are here. My name is Lily Brucker, and I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate (LMHCA) in Washington state with approximately two years of clinical experience. I have worked with clients ranging from adolescents to seniors. My clients are often people navigating trauma, OCD and anxiety, family dynamics, LGBTQ+ experiences, relationships, emotional management, life changes, grief, chronic illness, and sobriety. Whatever brings you here, I want to help you gain awareness, understanding, compassion, support, and solutions to your struggles and spirals. As Avatar Aang once said, “When we hit our lowest point, we are open to the greatest change.”
My therapeutic orientation is trauma-informed at its core — I approach every client with the understanding that trauma is almost always informing how they are currently presenting. I believe that genuine connection and authenticity between us is what makes it possible to meet you where you are at and help you work toward where you want to be.
As a queer person and a systems thinker, I find it incredibly important to practice therapy that genuinely engages with anti-oppression. This means I am always considering how the systems we live within are influencing the person in front of me. I don’t believe deep transformative work is possible without addressing a client’s intersecting identities, and I continue to actively examine and unlearn my own distorted ways of thinking.
