Greetings! I work with individual clients of all ages and strive to bring healing, understanding, and personal growth, regardless of what life circumstances have disrupted normal life. Some of my specialties include (but are not limited to) relationship issues, depression, and anxiety.
My daily work is informed by my education from Mars Hill Graduate School (2004, now Seattle School of Theology and Counseling), as well as my life experience. I tend to be a very present-focused therapist. I use a combination of clinical skills I have developed, the therapy model I feel to be most helpful to my clients, and an intuitive sense to help guide and direct the process. Challenges are faced with hope and grace, and setbacks are viewed as opportunities.
In addition to talk therapy, I also use art therapy and play as a way to help clients open up and express their feelings and emotions. Clients of all ages have found the experience of art and play freeing, as it can them to practice letting go of their critical inner voice, relax into a creative moment, and connect with their next steps towards healing.
I look for ways to reach and engage with what makes my clients happy and also help them identify what brings them joy and purpose. I am glad to learn of your life and what has troubled you, while looking for ways to improve your present and reduce barriers to achieving your best life.

Please complete the intake paperwork prior to your first session and bring it with you, along with your insurance card. Or, you may arrange to come a half hour early to fill out the paperwork when you arrive (please let me know if you need this). You can find the intake packets on the homepage of this website. Note: We do not accept Medicare.
